    Continue working on your justification letter for the Model U.N. You will have 1 hour of working time, on top of the 1 1/2 hour working time in class today. Be sure you have read your letter out loud to yourself and made any grammar repairs that need to be made BEFORE printing. You will be reading your justification letter out loud in class.

    Read "Abraham the Patriarch" and "Exodus: The Story of Moses and the Ten Commandments" and review the questions on page 24. Reminder, while you are not required to write out the answers to all the questions, you might need to write quick notes on the questions in order to answer them easily in class discussion. If we go around the room answering questions, you should simply be able to share your thoughts on any question, you should NOT have to look back at the reading.

    Page 26, consider the Ten Commandments as directed on the page. Again, you don't have to write them out, but be prepared to share. Then come up with commandments of your own (think Core Values from our PLP's and Flyin' Ryan). Write them down, you will be illustrating them in class Monday. Be prepared to discuss why they are important enough to you to live by.

    Read The Mosque and choose your favorite of the 5 famous to share with us. Label the picture of the mosque. Also read the Rites of Passage and compare them to those of the other Semitic religions and your own life (mentally, no writing necessary).

    Be sure to finish with the maps, the related distances of the Hajj, and the Ottoman Empire.
